Content type
We currently only accept original photos & 3d renders. We do not accept screenshots, in-game captures, and composite art.

 

Photos meet the minimum size requirement of 5 megapixels.
For a standard landscape orientation photo, 5 megapixels is at least 2500 by 2000 pixels in size.

 

Jumpstream Photo standards.
We don’t accept unclear photos, photos containing excess noise, ‘spotting’ (marks made by water or dirt on the lens at the time the photo was taken), selfies, or shots taken on extreme angles.

 

Photos are original.
We do not accept composite images on Jumpstream. A composite is an image that has been created using multiple photos. 

 

Photos are not over edited.
Our interpretation of over-editing includes:

  • Heavy vignetting
  • Over-sharpened
  • Over-saturated
  • Picking single colors out on black and white photos

Jumpstream is a place to experiment with styles and people shouldn’t be afraid to try things that challenge traditional editing. 

 

Permissions

You must be the original photographer of and own the rights to any photo you share on Jumpstream, which includes permission from recognizable people.

Some things to consider

  • Photos containing celebrities, performers and sports persons typically have additional privacy rights or corporate sponsorships that prohibit any person or company to profit from their image.
  • Respect people's right to privacy. General street photography is permitted, however, images that focus on individuals require consent and proof of permission. Be sure to explain exactly how the image may be used (personally and commercially).

Our editorial team makes the process simple from the get-go. Before you get started, we will give you advice on what content gets the most exposure on the platform, and work with you to set up targeted keywords for your uploads. We can even create your account and upload your photos for you if you prefer.

If you delete your collection from your account and no longer wish to use Jumpstream - no Jumpstream user will be able to access or download your images on the platform. However, the Jumpstream License is irrevocable, so copies of the photo that were downloaded before deletion may still be used for free.
